One of my favorite songs off the “Invincible” album. “Butterflies” is a song by Michael Jackson. It was written and composed by Andre Harris and Marsha Ambrosius, and produced by Jackson and Harris. The track appears on Jackson’s tenth studio album, Invincible (2001), and is Jackson’s final single from a studio album. Also song appeared in “The Ultimate Collection” (2004). “Butterflies” is a midtempo ballad song with R&B musical styles. The single received generally positive reviews from music critics; some music reviewers described the song as being one of the best songs on Invincible while others felt that it was a “decent track”.

All you gotta do is walk away and pass me by
Don’t acknowledge my smile when I try to say hello to you, yeah
And all you gotta do is not answer my calls when
I’m trying to get through
To keep me wondering why, when all I can do is sigh
I just want to touch you

This smooth neo-soul sound was perfect for Michael’s voice. I tell you what! Marsha Ambrosius knows how to write a great song. Post your favorite song or video off the “Invincible” album.
