Comedian Katt Williams pleads not guilty to assault allegation

A stand-up comedian accused of assaulting a town car driver at Portland International Airport after an argument over his dog was arraigned in a Multnomah County courtroom Monday (10/8/18).

Katt Micah Sierra Williams, 47, was arrested on a warrant at Central Precinct about 11:15 pm. Saturday on an allegation of fourth-degree assault.

He pleaded not guilty to the assault allegation Monday afternoon in Multnomah County Circuit Court.

The alleged offense occurred Friday night about 10:13 p.m. at Atlantic Aviation on Northeast Airport Way.

Williams is accused of striking the driver of the town car after an argument about transporting him and his dog to a performance at the Moda Center. The victim, who is unnamed in a Port of Portland police report, sustained minor injuries to his face, including swelling and cuts. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
