Cardi B has formed an unbreakable bond with many in her Bardi Gang family. The Bronx native penned a sincere tribute to Instagram on Monday afternoon (March 18) upon hearing the terrible news that one of her diehard fans, Alaysia Crockett, had passed away from cancer. Cardi posted a photo with Crockett from a recent hospital visit.
“This makes me so sad. RIP babygirl. My condolence to her wonderful parents and family. When I met this young lady, I literally had to hold her and put her against my body cause she couldn’t barely stand yet she was sooo happy in a great spirit and her make up on super fleek Her parents were so happy,” Bardi wrote. “Heaven gained the prettiest angel your not in pain anymore Alaysia Crockett! FUCK CANCER.”
During the Super Bowl festivities in Atlanta last month (Feb. 3), Cardi B carved out some time to visit with kids in a local children’s hospital. One photo even saw the 26-year-old autographing a patient’s cast. On the music front, Cardi’s “Please Me” collaboration with Bruno Mars stays firm at No. 4 on this week’s (March 23 dated) Hot 100.
