It’s officially the end of the road for the long-running Viola Davis-led series How To Get Away With Murder. The announcement was just made by network ABC and confirmed by series creator Shonda Rhimes.
Premiering in 2014, the nail-biting legal drama centers around lawyer and legal professor Annalise Keating, who manages to find herself in some of the most jaw-dropping situations (usually involving murder) that she has to utilize her chosen law students to get her out of.
Viola made history with series, becoming the first black woman to win an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2015.
With the departure of How To Get Away With Murder, Shonda Rhimes TGIT line-up is now down to just the medial drama Grey’s Anatomy.
