It’s overwhelming. Believe us, we know. But amid the barrage of Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals for everything under the sun, there are some seriously great airfare sales that could (and probably should) be the impetus for an awesome 2020 adventure (or two, or three).

We scoured the promotions for reduced fares to extraordinary destinations as well as affordable flights for travel during more enticing times of year (beyond winter). These are the deals we found that have us ready to click and book.

San Francisco to Paris for $350

OK, so while this is only about $30 less than a standard, introductory French Bee fare, we actually love this deal for the most obvious reason—Paris. This one kicked off at the start of November and runs through December 12, 2019, for travel between now and March 31, 2020. The fares are for Basic Economy class seats round trip from San Francisco (SFO) to Paris (ORY).

The French low-cost carrier launched in 2017 and has been gradually expanding since then. This fall, it introducednew flights between New York and Paris (that will begin in June but are already bookable), which joined the airline’s existing service between Paris, San Francisco, Tahiti, Reunion Island, and Punta Cana.

The 10-hour SFO-ORY flight is available three times per week, and the Basic Economy fares include one 26-pound carry-on. So, pack light and Paris is yours for just shy of $350.

Fly to Europe for less with Norwegian

If you’re a fan of cheap, no-frills flights to Europe, you can now get them for even less. Norwegian, the Scandinavian airline that has become synonymous with low-cost, long-haul service, is offering 15 percent off its economy fares on all of its routes (and there are many), and 10 percent off on premium class fares, also on all routes.

The deal must be booked between November 29 and December 2, 2019, for travel between December, 1, 2019, and March 28, 2020.

Earn triple miles on Air France and KLM

Although this isn’t an airfare deal per se, miles are basically currency in the world of air travel and tripling the currency with these two European carriers could go a long way. You have until December 2, 2019, to book a flight with Air France or KLM and earn triple miles on travel that takes place between December 7, 2019, and March 31, 2020.

The qualifying routes are to Paris and Amsterdam from several of the airlines’ U.S. hubs. Each Flying Blue member (Air France and KLM’s loyalty program, for which you can simply sign up prior to booking if you’re not already a member) can book up to two flights with this offer. It is valid for all cabin categories except Air France’s first class, La Premiere. The additional miles will be credited within 10 days upon arrival of the return flight.

Business class to Paris for $1,000

French business-class-only airline La Compagnie is offering round-trip fares between New York and Paris for $1,000, and between New York and Nice for $1,400. The sale takes place from Friday, November 22, to Tuesday, November 26, 2019, for travel through 2020.

The flights will be on new Airbus A321neo aircraft that have been outfitted with 76 business-class seats that recline into a flat-bed position; they also feature inflight entertainment systems and have free, unlimited Wi-Fi for all onboard.
