Megan Thee Stallion Honors Victims of Police Brutality During Virtual Concert [Photos + Video]

Megan Thee Stallion returned to the stage today for an exclusive virtual concert presented by Live Nation.

The audience-less show was streamed via Tidal and it marked the first time Meg hit the stage since her “Savage” remix featuring Beyoncé went #1.

During the virtual concert, the Megan took a moment to honor Black victims of police brutality.

After a black backdrop that said “this shit is exhausting,” the screen displayed names including those of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Tamir Rice, Freddie Gray, and Jacob Blake —  all victims of police-related gun violence.

The tribute ended with the following question: “Why is it so hard being Black in America?”
