A security camera caught the horrifying moment a lightning bolt killed a man and injured three others who had been hiding under a tree in India during a rainstorm.
The tragic strike occurred March 12 at the Signature Villas apartment complex in Gurgaon, a city in the northern Indian state of Haryana, where the four men were part of the horticulture staff, NDTV reported.
Footage shows them hunkered down by the tree right as the lightning strikes. Three of them collapse immediately, while the fourth, who is leaning against the tree, falls a second later.
One of the men was hospitalized with severe burns. The other two are reportedly out of danger, according to the news outlet.
