Say it ain’t snow!
Parts of New York could be socked with up to half a foot of snow overnight into Wednesday morning, officials said Tuesday as the Big Apple basked in summer-like weather.
The National Weather Service on Tuesday issued a hazardous weather outlook for large swaths of central and western New York ahead of the off-season cold snap.
The wintry weather is expected to begin late Tuesday with heavy rain, strong winds and possible thunderstorms moving across the Hudson Valley, New York City and Long Island regions, according to Accuweather.
There’s also a good chance that snow will begin to fall in western New York on Tuesday night, meteorologists said.
Parts of western New York and the Finger Lakes regions are also predicted to get blasted with heavy, wet flurries late into Wednesday morning.
Officials warned that roads could be dangerous during the morning commute, because of slushy and slippery conditions and possible downed trees.

“Another round of potentially severe weather is making its way toward New York State tomorrow, with heavy snow in the Western New York and Finger Lakes regions during the morning hours and possible severe thunderstorms in the Capital Region and Mid-Hudson later Wednesday,” Gov. Andrew Cuomo said in a statement Tuesday.
“I have directed State agencies to track this weather system closely and ensure we are prepared to support any requests from local governments,” Cuomo added. “I encourage all New Yorkers to drive safely, especially if you are traveling tomorrow morning.”
New York City, meanwhile, was treated to sunny weather Tuesday with temps in the mid-70s, though Wednesday’s high will be about 65.
