CLOT Looks To The Air Jordan 13 “Flint” For Their Jordan Delta 2 Collaboration

A long-standing associate of the Nike umbrella — having worked with the Swoosh, Converse, and, of course, Jordan Brand — CLOT has produced a wide range of collaborative sneakers over the course of the past few years and beyond. And for their latest effort, the label is going a bit against the grain, highlighting one of the Jumpman’s unsung heroes: the Jordan Delta 2.

“I thought working on this silhouette would be a nice break from doing performance-related sneakers, especially with the Jordan Brand,” CLOT founder Edison Chen mentions. “A lot of people are buying sneakers and leaving them at home. I want to make a sneaker that people use. You can wear it and do whatever you want.”

The CLOT x Jordan Delta 2 pays tribute to one of Edison Chen’s favorite Jordans, the Air Jordan 13. Through its palette, the pair honors the much-beloved “Flint” colorway, with the titular grey outfitting the nubuck heel and mudguard. What’s more, the dimpled, reflective mesh signature to the Tinker Hatfield-designed sneaker is present across the upper, highlighted in a familiar navy finish. Adjacent, white leathers accent the toe, lace unit, and heel tab, while “University Blue” marks the various branding and pull-tabs. In addition, the shoes are packaged with a CLOT-branded hang tag, which features the AJ13’s iconic holographic emblem.

A release date has been scheduled for September 2nd, 2022.
