Olympic gymnast Simone Biles marries Jonathan Owens: ‘I do’

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are officially married!

The Olympic gymnast announced on Instagram Saturday that she and the Houston Texans player tied the knot in what appeared to be a courthouse wedding.

Biles wore a beautiful white tiered gown, while the groom sported a tan suit with white loafers.

Page Six has reached out to the bride’s rep for comment.

Several stars flooded Biles’ Instagram comment with their well wishes for the couple.

Biles and Owens were first linked as a couple in 2020 and went public with their romance on Instagram that August.

In the snaps, the NFL player gave Biles a kiss as they cozied up to each other. “It’s just us,” she captioned the post.

In February 2022, Owens revealed that he had popped the question.

“THE EASIEST YES,” Biles shared on Instagram at the time. “I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married FIANCÉ.”

The Olympian also shared photos from the couple’s sweet engagement, in which Owens presented Biles with a stunning ring that featured an oval-cut center stone and a diamond band by Zo Frost.

The jeweler previously told Page Six that he and Owens “started the process together a few months ago to select the perfect diamond for Simone that was handpicked by Jonathan.”

Frost added, “He wanted to add a special touch to the ring by adding a halo around the oval diamond.”

Ahead of their big day, Biles and some of her closest friends and family members flew to a private location to celebrate her bachelorette weekend in February.

The bride-to-be and her crew wore matching T-shirts that read, “Bach and Boujee: Bachelorette Party,” as they participated in several classic bachelorette activities such as playing Tipsy Land — an alcohol-fueled spin on Candy Land.

Biles’ relationship with Owens came on the heels of her split with Stacey Ervin Jr. after three years of dating.

“It’s hard being young and having that long of a relationship and then ending it,” she previously told Vogue of their March 2020 breakup. “But it was for the best.”

Biles and Ervin Jr., a fellow gymnast, began dating in 2017.
