Designer Spotlight



Asya Idarous Khansin is a fashion designer from Tanzania.  She has been a designer for more than 40 years.  She has organized over 300 fashion Shows  in her country to promote upcoming fashion designers.  These shows give them an opportunity to showcase their talent.  Asya also organizes annually the “Lady In Red Fashion Show” and “Kanha Za Kale Fashion Show” in Tanazania.  Awards she has received are as follows:  Mother of Fashion, Tanzania Humanitarian Award Winner 2015 and 2 Lifetime Achievement Awards.


L. A. Designer “Marisol Arias” 2018 Vintage Swimwear Collection

Marisol Arias is an L.A. based fashion designer working from DTLA in the Garment District.  She graduated from FIDM los Angeles, and is very knowledgeable in her field. She’s been developing clothing brands for over 2 decades and this year she launched her own brand in Swimwear “Marisol California” inspired by the era of Hollywood Glam celebrities dated in the 1960s / 1970s.
